ABOUT ME

Caitlyn Capre is a NYC & ATL based actor. She is a proud Bronx-born Puerto Rican & Cuban.

She recently graduated from Montclair State University with her BFA in Acting.

Growing up, Caitlyn competed in pageants. In 2014, she won the title of Miss Georgia Preteen in the National American Miss Pageant.

Caitlyn found her passion for acting watching her father in plays throughout her childhood. He inspired her to audition for her middle school’s production on Cinderella Jr, where she landed the role of Perla the Mouse. It was from that moment, Caitlyn was bit by the “theatre bug”.

While Caitlyn was an active member of her high school’s Thespian Society, she signed with an Atlanta and Los Angeles talent agency. When it came time for Caitlyn to attend college, she parted ways with her agents to focus on her education.

Caitlyn loves to embrace her Caribbean heritage by cooking tradition Puerto Rican and Cuban dishes for all of her friends. She also enjoys singing and dancing to all the classic salsa hits. When Caitlyn was in middle school, she was a member of a Latin Dance Troupe in North Georgia.

Aside from acting, Caitlyn has many other passions. She strives to have a natural and holistic lifestyle. Her love for aromatherapy has inspired her to use essential oils to help benefit artists on their artistic journeys. As a hobby, Caitlyn makes custom essential oil blends for her friends and family. She also loves gardening and watching a ton of reality television.

Pageants

Caitlyn’s pageant career began in 2010, when she competed and won the title of Miss Next Level Youth Hightstown Preteen in the Next Level Youth Pageant.

A month after Caitlyn won her first pageant, she went on to compete in both The Miss American Coed & National American Miss Pageants in New Jersey, where she placed 1st Runner Up. After placing 1st Runner up in her state division in the National American Miss Pageant, Caitlyn was invited to compete in the National Competition in Los Angeles, CA. She represented her hometown in New Jersey as Miss Mercer County Jr. Preteen.

In 2012, Caitlyn and her family moved from New Jersey to Georgia. Caitlyn’s determination to win a state title brought her to the National American Miss Pageant in Georgia. It took her 2 years to raise enough money to compete. In July of 2014, Caitlyn won the title of Miss Georgia Preteen. In November of 2014, Caitlyn went on to compete in the National Competition in Los Angeles, CA representing the state of Georgia.

Through pageantry, Caitlyn was involved in multiple charities and organizations. She partnered with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Alzheimer’s Association of Atlanta, and The Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta Organization. During Hurricane Maria in 2017, Caitlyn and her family partnered up with restaurant Buen Provecho ATL and started a relief effort to help the island of Puerto Rico. Caitlyn continued to be a leader in the Puerto Rico Hurricane relief efforts all throughout high school and college.
